As someone that has been in the industry for 30 plus years, we have some of the most inspired stylist in the capital district. They have inspired me to try new services for our salon. Tommie Deerfield ~ I love this business. I love the fact that it changes constantly. New styles, trends and techniques keep it interesting and fun! Shear Cut has given me a place where I can utilize my skills and talents. Whether it is a classic or edgy cut, soft or bold color, or photo-ready makeup for your special occasion, I'm ready! I want my clients to feel good about their look, and leave my chair feeling confident about themselves. I always try to be the best at what I do, continually updating my education with color and cutting classes. Here at Shear Cut we inspire each other as stylists and we are constantly learning from each other. It is a great salon to work for and I am very happy to be a part of it!

Valerie Varone~I Having been in the business over twenty years, I feel confident in my ability to make the client in my chair look and feel the very best they can. I enjoy making a person obtain their own personal, and unique look with my professional help and expertise. I specialize in color, highlighting and Keritan treatments. I have had the opportunity to train in the Vidal Sassoon School of Cutting in Miami, Florida, and have taken many classes to broaden and update my technique. I respect the beauty industry and all it has to offer. I take pride in my job as a hairstylist and feel it is my responsibility to provide the best possible experience I can while they are in my chair at Shear Cut. Your visit with us is all about you and making you look nothing other than fabulous!.

Keriann Mayo~ I have been a Goldwell hair colorist/stylist since 2012. I graduated from John Paolo Beauty School in Ballston Spa. My clients become my friends, and I love meeting new people and developing friendships with them. While you're in my chair we will take the time to talk about your style needs and together come up with a look that fits your lifestyle. I go to classes and I’m always researching new techniques, upcoming styles, and products. When you feel and look good, it makes me feel good!
